Reading Comprehension

I think reading comprehension is an interesting skill to learn. I have four suggestions to share with you to improve the comprehension skill when reading.

  1. When you read, you must understand and remember what you read. To remember the story, you can use imagined pictures to help you remember the message.
  2. Reading and thinking should happen when you read. Without thinking, you can't understand the message.
  3. When there are some unknown words, you can skip the words by just saying "bah..bah.." or pronounce the words if you can. You shouldn't stop too long to think about the unknown words.
  4. Read words in groups or phrases. Link the words into phrases when you read. You should not put a pause after reading a single word.

If you follow my advice, your reading comprehension can improve very soon.

1. How many suggestions does the author want to share?
